Detoxifying Ginger Avocado Green Smoothie
Ingredients
2 handfuls spinach1 stalk celery1/2 cumber1 handful parsley1/2 avocado1 tsp ground ginger or one (1 inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
1 lemon juicedtablespoon chia seeds
1/2 cup waterhandful ice
Directions
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and process until smooth. Add additional water if needed to get it going in the blender.
- Serve immediately (because of the avocado and chia seeds this smoothie thickens up fast – so if you do let it sit, stir it up with a spoon or knife before drinking to loosen!).
