Pesto Sauce

1 1/2 cup

Ingredients

4 cup slightly packed fresh basil leaves

½ cupt oasted pine nuts

6 garlic cloves

1 tablespoon unsalted butter room temperature

½ cup olive oil

¾ cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Salt to taste

Directions

Finely grind basil, pine nuts and garlic in processor,

Gently blend in oil and butter.

Add cheese, lemon juice and pepper and blend well.

Season with salt.

Notes

To store place in container, top with a thin layer of olive oil to seal, cover and refrigerate or freeze.
