Getting older is inevitable. Aging is optional.

We all have the power to start living agelessly. One of the first steps? Adjusting your attitude toward birthdays.

In our culture, a birthday says you're running out of time. You only have so much left.

Research demonstrates that our beliefs about aging impact how we age.

As you expand your belief about how well you can do in your 60’s, 70’s and beyond, you set yourself up for a better experience. Research shows that how we think we’ll do at certain ages has a tremendous impact on how we actually do at those ages.

Essentially your beliefs about aging are self-fulfilling prophesies.

If you dread old age, if you see it as a negative time of your life, you are setting yourself up for a harder time than you have to have.
When you feel as though you are running out of time, simply stop being a certain age!

Being ageless is a choice, and you need to make a decision to live your best life!

My decision is to celebrate the entire year that just passed. I like a whole birthday season. I will celebrate every accomplishment I am proud of in the past year and celebrate my worth and increased competence.

I started a practice a few years ago. On my birthday I say “I’m ___years old and I’m just getting started”. Yep “66 and just getting started!”
