Allow your cork to float.

We were celebrating the New Year having dinner at some friends' place.  Our host was uncaging the third bottle of Champagne.

I still had some bubbly in my glass.  I thought

Cheers to more celebrating!

When that 3rd bottle opened in a split-second POP! it launched, ricocheted off the dining room chandelier and landed in my champagne glass with just a tinkle.  Just a 2” diameter opening.  What are the chances of this happening???

I thought wow, this is going to be my lucky year!! Of course we all toasted to that and my lucky cork.

But as I pondered over my "lucky cork" just bobbing happily in the glass I realized - we adults need to be more like that cork.

Little kids are born like floating corks.  They're full of life, full of energy, happy, interested, in a state of grace without negative emotion restraining them.  Hum… maybe babies come forth to remind adults what they've forgotten.

A bobbing cork is in a high energy place - no resistance there. Could it be it's signifying that our natural state is a place of resistance free well-being?

When you take the cork and hold it under - that's what negative emotion is.  Negative emotion is giving your attention to something different than what is natural to you-being worried, frustrated, or fearful. Being angry, blameful guilty or lonely.

That cork will stay under when you focus on something unwanted or, you doubt, you beat up on yourself.

Hold under-This is you complaining about your spouse, your job, not having enough money, irritated that some condition hasn't lined up just right for you.

When you take your attention away from negative thought or emotion and release that resistance, your cork bobs right back up to the surface.

How do we do this?  With the Art of allowing.

The art of allowing means being ready to receive the abundance, love, well-being, or anything else you've been trying to attract.

A state of "allowing" is alignment with the essence of the things you've been trying to attract into your life.  Maybe you've been trying to attract more money, or the love of your life, or a new job, or better health.

The art of allowing involves deliberately shifting your thoughts and feelings into the state of already HAVING these things.

Chances are, you've been communicating a message of scarcity to the universe with negative thoughts: "I don't have as much money as I want; I don't have my soul mate yet; I don't have the body I want."

So, the universe just reflects the essence of not having what you want back into your life, over and over and over.

The art of allowing is about changing your thoughts and feelings so they closely match how you will FEEL when you have the things you want.

How will you feel when you have plenty of money?  Secure, protected, free.....

How will you feel when you are involved in a loving relationship with that someone special?  Connected, comfortable, easy, adored.....,

How will you feel when your body is strong and vibrant?  Energized, invigorated, confident....

Start practicing feeling that way NOW!  Just spend a few minutes a day practicing feeling like you already have the things you want to attract.

Pay attention to the way you feel, be deliberate with what you focus on and chose thoughts that feel good.

You'll notice when you feel Joy-full, when you feel frisky, when you feel eager, when you feel interested, then your cork is floating.  Allow your cork to float.     Cheers!
