Exercise actually lasts a long time and protects your brain from different conditions like Alzheimer's disease and dementia and can last the rest of your life.

Best of all, exercise pays you back by giving you more energy.

Another strategy to outlive your age is healthy eating. It is one of the most powerful age reset buttons available. What you eat determines not only how long but how well you live - to help you be healthier longer.

Focus on forging a relationship with food that's more intimate and intentional. Breaking free of the grip of sugar and processed foods is a must.

Sleep is another critical component of your “Healthspan”. It’s the time that your body repairs itself. Yes, you still need eight hours.

Lack of sleep makes you older than your chronological age, fatter, more at risk for diseases, depression, death and wired for stress.

 

The people in your “in person” social network influence your “healthspan” more than almost any other factor including diet, exercise or even getting a flu shot – improving odds of survival by 50%. Community is the cure.
