Your Immune System And Cancer

A Weakened Immune System Leads To Cancer.
A Strong Immune System Seeks Out and Destroys Cancer.

Staggering statistics
  • One million Americans are diagnosed with cancer every year
  • One person of every three will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes.
I wanted to tell you about the importance of having a strong immune system for the prevention and in defense of some cancers.

What is the immune system’s job?
  • The immune system is our body's natural defense against harmful substances and abnormal cell development.
  • The immune system’s natural capacity to detect and destroy abnormal cells may prevent the development of many cancers.
Why does cancer develop?
  • Your immune system must either be worn out, ineffective, unable to kill cancer cells as fast as they normally develop.
  • You must be exposed to a mass of cancer causing toxins, radiation or some such thing, that increase the rate of development of cancer cells to such an abnormally high level that your immune system can't handle it.
  • Either way, it is vital to strengthen the immune system to prevent and battle cancer.
True Cancer Prevention – Giving Your Body a Fighting Chance NOW
Here are some risk reduction strategies that can optimize your health and aid in your natural self-healing process. These steps help your immune system do its job.
  •  Reduce your processed food, sugar/fructose and grain carbohydrate intake.
  • Eat at least 1/3 of your food raw.
  • Add cancer-fighting whole foods, herbs, spices and supplements to your diet, such as broccoli, curcumin and resveratrol.
  •  Normalize your ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats by taking a high-quality krill or fish oil and reducing your intake of processed vegetable oils (corn, soybean, sunflower, etc).
  • Optimize your gut flora with natural probiotics to reduce inflammation and strengthen your immune response.
  • Get regular exercise. Exercise drives your insulin levels down. Controlling insulin levels is one of the most powerful ways to reduce your cancer risks.
  • Normalize your vitamin D levels and vitamin A levels by getting plenty of sunlight exposure and consider careful supplementation when this is not possible.
  •  Get a good night's sleep.
  • Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins like pesticides, household chemical cleaners, synthetic air fresheners and air pollution.
  • Limit your exposure and protect yourself from radiation produced by cell phones, towers, base stations, and Wi-Fi stations
  •  Minimize your exposure from radiation-based medical scan.
  • Avoid frying or charbroiling your food. Boil, poach or steam your foods instead.
  • Reduce stress. Chronically high levels of stress hormones suppress the immune system and reduce the body's ability to defend or repair itself. Meditation, yoga, massage, and other techniques may help you reduce stress. Your mental and emotional state are intricately connected with your physical body.
Take care of your immune system to bolster your body-wide defense against ALL disease.
