The average American consumes 150-170 pounds of sugar per year.  That’s 22 teaspoons of sugar per day per person including kids. Pretty shocking!

This daily dose would represent 1 Starbucks cappuccino (just a tall) & 2 slices of whole wheat bread!

Here is the shocking truth about bread-It runs up your blood sugar higher & longer than a snickers bar!  Then we crash & burn, which is why we crave that snickers bar after all.

Sugar is the primary ingredient that puts fat on you.  Fat doesn’t make you fat-sugar makes you fat (a whopping 60% of Americans are overweight or obese).
